Next week is spring break and we have practice every day from 3:30 to 6:30 at Sandy Run. That means be at the boathouse NLT 3:30 (aim to arrive around 3:20).
As a cost savings to the team ($420/day), we ask rowers to provide their own transportation that week—in year’s past we have found that a carpool is helpful although I understand that many of our rowing families self-organize.
Please respond to this email with the following information.
> My rower needs a ride (please include all days a ride is needed M-F)
> I can transport other rowers (please include the days you can transport and the number of spots you have available—subtract your child or other rowers you’ve already agreed to give a ride to).
> Mari Mullane will be the carpool contact next week.
Friday of Spring Break (March 25th @ 7:00) is out PASTA DINNER kick-off potluck at the Moose Lodge. This is a fun event … the night before the first regatta (the Polar Bear). There will be spirit wear and car magnets for sale, delicious food, walk through a day at a regatta, and Q&A for novices, etc. Please don’t forget to sign up to bring something on the Signup Genius.
Best,
Linda
P.S. Be on the lookout for a couple of additional signup genius events to bring food to regattas. We have a table for the rowers with fruit, bagels, drinks, etc. to ensure they stay hydrated and healthy.
