Crew Fundraising Year-round

JUSTICE ROWING is a competitive varsity sport that receives no funding from either Justice High School or Fairfax County. Crew is an expensive sport that requires a large operating budget to pay for equipment, coaches’ salaries, bus rentals for daily practices, insurance, boat storage, and equipment costs and maintenance. The rowers’ dues cover only a portion of the costs necessary for team operations. The rest of the funds needed to run the program must be raised by the booster club in a series of fundraising events and year-round programs. Donations are welcome and appreciated year-round! Below are some fundraisers that our rowers and families lead:

Gift Cards that Give Back!

Great for daily use at the grocery store or gas station and make a welcome gift.

You buy the gift cards at face value through RaiseRight and a percentage is provided from the merchant to the team. Order gift cards online at your convenience and choose physical cards to deliver to your mailbox or e-cards to your inbox. Sign up today! It’s an easy way to contribute to the rowing program.

Grocery Cards

Link your cards—Link your Harris Teeter VIC Card and Safeway cards to the JUSTICE ROWING at the beginning of each school year, so that a portion of your purchases are donated back to the team.

Giant Community Bag Program

With the Giving Tag, you can support Justice Rowing by directing your $1 donation generated from the purchase of a purple Giant Community Bag either online or by returning the completed tag to your Giant within 7 days of purchase. Offer available at any Giant in DelMarVa.

Crew Car Washes

We’re back! After a break due to COVID-19 precautions, Justice Rowing is back to hosting car washes in the neighborhood.

A fun community event, rowers love to see returning supporters at these annual summer events.

Crew members are notified of upcoming car washes via website postings, social channels, email, and their captains. All rowers are expected to participate.

Wreaths, Poinsettias, and Coffee Fundraiser

Our biggest single fundraiser of the year! Throughout October, Justice Rowing fundraiser annually through sales of beautiful wreaths, poinsettias, and Justice Rowing Java (a special-label coffee from our long-time sponsor Beanetics) to friends, family, and neighbors as a way to support the program. Justice Rowing offers direct delivery across the continental U.S. or a contactless pick-up option. Learn more.
