There are a few more details about the Mathews Regatta this Saturday that are important. This is a fun regatta, parents — on the Chesapeake, carnival-like atmosphere, crab cakes, etc. It is about at 2.5 hour drive, so car pools are fun too. Hoping for nice weather.

Permission Slip — we will need a signed permission slip for every rower. Please print, sign and get back to Mari Mullane (by email or through her son Steven at practice by Thursday). Click for MATHEWS REGATTA FIELD TRIP FORM.

Food Table Items — Just like every other regatta, we work together to provide healthy food for our rowers to keep them going throughout the long day. Your contribution is vital and appreciated. All items need to be at the bus by 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, so please send with your rower.

Bus is Leaving at 3:00 a.m. from Stuart. Per tradition, the girls will gather for pasta, then crash, and leave all together for Stuart. Plan to arrive at 2:45 a.m. to load the bus for prompt departure.

Funds. We ask each rower to provide $20 to defray the cost of the bus and the post-regatta pizza.

Other items …. there will be t-shirts for sale and other items to buy (concessions, crab cakes, etc.). Remember to send a bit of money with your rower. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc.
