Parker Leonard, men’s junior 4+ bow coxswain, and Pasha McGuigan, 3 seat in the Women’s Varsity 4x and bronze-medalist at Virginia State and National Championship Regattas, were named as Sportsmanship Award recipients for the 2016 Stuart Crew Team at Tuesday night’s Varsity Sports Awards night.

After opening remarks, Mr. Garvey began the awards ceremony with a rousing commentary on the crew team’s achievements in the most recent weeks as the season draws to a close. It was a moment of Stuart Crew pride to be recognized for a successful season in the midst of the Stuart athletic community.
