Look for Stuart Crew at these upcoming events:

Sept. 1: Raider Day. Crew boosters and rowers will be at Raider Day, available to answer questions, give new rowers a chance to try out an erg, and Learn To Row students a chance to show off their new erg skill.

Sept. 14: After School Interest Meeting. Returning rowers and assistant coaches will meet with interested new rowers at Stuart. (Note: Date subject to change. Room number to be announced.)

Sept. 25, 1 to 4 pm: Open House on Lake Barcroft (weather dependent). A great opportunity for new rowers to experience some additional water time. Bring friends to give it a try — both ergs and shells will be available. This is a much less intensive introduction than the three-day Learn To Row camp. Physical or swim test is not required. Waivers will be available on site.

Sept. 29: Back to School Night. Stuart Crew will man a table to greet new and returning students, sell Stuart Crew Brew, and recruit potential rowers. (Note: Time to be announced)

Oct. 26: General Membership and Crew Interest Meeting. The whole team turns out for this annual meeting when you can get a formal introduction to the team and meet the coaches. (Note: Date subject to change)

Nov. 17: Winter conditioning begins.

Home football games (Sept 1,  Sept 23, Oct 6, Oct 21, Nov 4). Look for crew boosters near the spirit wear table. In October, we’ll be taking orders at the games for our annual wreaths, poinsettias and coffee sale.
