Rowers,
Signups for PWRC Erg Sprints events will be posted in the dance studio. Check individual sheets for events broken out by gender, age, and weight categories. Ask your captains about the event — they have all participated in PWRC and/or MidAtlantic Erg Sprints. Sign up to represent JEB Stuart Crew at this team-oriented afternoon event, use this experience as a warm up for MidAtlantic Erg Sprints the following weekend, and get a chance to check out the competition before you get on the water. It’s a great afternoon to spend with your teammates rooting each other on while competing for bragging rights. Rowers may choose 1 individual event and 2 relays.
Get a jump on it and choose your relay team, and ask your parent to join you in the parent/rower event. It is a lot of fun.
Parents,
Join your rower in the highly-anticipated parent/rower event, come watch your rower compete, and even if you can’t be present to root on the team, consider sending a snack to share to get our rowers and coaches through the afternoon of competition. Healthy, re-energizing snacks include rinsed and portioned grapes, whole apples and bananas; whole grain fruit and protein bars; and a case of water or gatorade.
