Calling all parents and guardians of Stuart Crew!
The crew program runs on volunteers, and we need you. Regatta Volunteer Positions are critical to the success of the each regatta. We ask that every parent, guardian, or significant adult in a rower’s life fulfills at least one position each season.
These assignments are fun! And with the exception of the launch driver position, few require a particular skill set. Jobs need willing, focused, and observant adults with common sense to work with equally caring adults from other schools. The common denominator? We all have children rowing on the Occoquan.
Choices
You may want to choose a morning shift if you discover your child rows in the afternoon. You may want to be a stakeholder and watch the powerful and highly-anticipated starts. You may choose to be a dock assistant and learn about the launch. You may elect to serve a shift at the concession stand and hand over delicious grilled chicken sandwiches to ravenous rowers. The choice is yours. The sign ups are below.
