We don’t do many fundraisers during the already-very-packed season, but one we love to do is food concessions at Lake Barcroft’s Earth Day. The celebration is Sunday, April 22, at Barcroft Beach 5 (6309 Waterway Drive). It’s one part fundraiser — we have a bake sale and cook all the food for the guests — as well as a chance to give back to the community.
We need help on three fronts:
- People (parents to grill; rowers to sell, race and talk up crew; anybody for set up and clean up)
- Items on loan (coolers and grilling tools)
- Baked goods (Part of our concessions is HOMEMADE baked items. Please tap into your inner baker and make something delicious. Please also bag it for individual sale, note if there is anything in it likely to trigger allergies, and bring by 1 pm.)
Please sign up to work or lend items on this SignUp Genius.
Baked goods aren’t on the sign up: We’re looking for contributions from everyone.
What to expect? Here are scenes from previous year’s event.

Thanks all in advance for making this another successful event.
