There are so many people to thank for such a successful and long day on Saturday! Hosting the open house gave around 15 budding rowers a chance to try the sport first-hand from the comfort of their own neighborhood.

Parents and volunteers, you crushed it. Again. With your planning and support, the other coaches and I were able to focus on meeting all of our new athletes, their parents, and growing interest in the team. Special shout-out to our trailer crew, Matt Hardy and Steve Brogan. Thanks again to Bob Finley for providing Lake Barcroft support. And of course, thanks to our board for organizing set-up, food, and paperwork collection.

I hope everyone got a chance to meet our new coaches. Eric Caldwell, Maggie Crotty, and Alexandra Braun bring 60+ years of cumulative rowing experience to our staff, and we’re all excited to get to work.

Finally, I hope everyone has a good week, thanks again for your support, and we’ll see you on October 29th for our kick-off general interest meeting!
