Justice Rowing Community: We’ve got several events happening in late October and early November where we need your support.
1. Head of the Occoquan (HOTO) parking fundraiser, November 5-6, Sandy Run Regional Park. We only have 7 of our 16 slots filled to date and have committed to filling all 16 slots by tonight. If we don’t, other teams can fill the slots and earn the money instead of us. Thanks to those of you who have already signed up! If you haven’t yet, please sign up tonight! Based on the eventual parking budget determined by HOTO, we stand to raise at least $24 for every volunteer hour worked. Both parents and rowers are invited to sign up.
2. Annual Wreaths, Poinsettias, and Coffee Fundraiser. This is the LAST WEEK for sales! Go to justicerowing.org/shop and place your orders for wreaths, poinsettias, coffee, and more holiday cheer items today! Place your orders ASAP, but no later than Oct. 30! Please share this announcement with your neighborhood email lists, friends, and relatives.
3. November 2 General Membership and Boosters meeting, 7:00 PM, Cafeteria. Come meet the Coaches, and learn about the team, practices, and expectations for Justice Rowing. Parents, meet the Boosters, register your rower, and learn how you can become involved in helping to support your rowers!
4. Winter Conditioning. Starts Nov. 14, after school in the Health/PE rooms. 3:45-5:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please let Coach Nate know if you are planning to attend. Pick up at 5:30 PM.
