Want to learn more about Justice Rowing and how to JOIN CREW?

You’re invited! Come to our Open House on Saturday, October 15, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Lake Barcroft Beach 4 (Duff Drive).

Try rowing in one of our shells! We will have a few of our boats on the lake and will give interested students a chance to get on the water to row! We hope to see interested rowers join our Learn-to-Row program starting the next day. Join us for a great few days!

No experience is required. Varsity Crew members will go out in boats with students new to the sport of rowing to see what it’s like. We will also have information, refreshments, and plenty of fun! Boosters will be on the beach to answer questions and get to know parents.

Any current Justice High School student or eighth-grader in the Justice High School pyramid, with parent’s permission (see below) is welcome. Be sure to wear comfortable, loose-fitting or “stretchy” clothing, such as shorts (or leggings) and a T-shirt. Any footwear is fine, and bring socks and a towel. Bring a friend, your parents, a sibling, a teacher.

All we need from prospective new rowers is a waiver (download PDF here) completed and signed by a parent or guardian. If possible, please print it out and have a parent or guardian complete and sign the waiver, and then bring it to the open house. We will have copies of the waiver available at the open house (but it’s better if you can have it done in advance). New rowers cannot get on the water without a completed waiver.

Parents are welcome and feel free to pass this on to a friend!

Questions? Feel free to contact us at justicerowing@gmail.com at any time!
