Hello Justice Crew Families,

Critical reminders and updates for everyone:

• After-School Interest Meeting — Justice Rowing will have an after-school interest meeting this Thursday, September 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room C33. Calling all rowers to show up and support this recruitment effort. Also, please promote this throughout the school. Captains hung promotional posters throughout Justice High School.
• Open House — We will have our Justice Rowing Open House on Sunday, September 15 at Beach 4 in Lake Barcroft. Please support and help as you can. Sign up here to help with food, loading at Sandy Run, or unloading at Beach 4. Post flyers at places you frequent and post within your social network. Flyers are online for download at the Open House article.
• Glasgow Erg Program — We are starting up the Glasgow Erg program to expose students at Glasgow Middle School to the rowing program. We plan to have rowers and ergs at Glasgow on the second Wednesday of each month for the second session. We need rowers and adults to help. Our first session is Wednesday, September 11! Sign up here!

Other items of note:

• Blue Friday — Justice High School will have its first “Blue Friday” event on Friday, September 13. This will occur during Second Period Advisory around the track. Rowers should plan to help/support and promote Justice Rowing. More details to come.
• Restaurant Nights — We are in the process of organizing some restaurant nights. The first one is likely to be Red Robin in early October. More details to come.
• VASRA Fall Work Days — See the email concerning the Fall 2024 VASRA Work Days. Please help as you are able.
