A champion day for Justice Rowers!

We had a fantastic showing at States yesterday. With seven boats entered, all boats matched or exceeded our expectations.

While three boats did not qualify for the finals, they all had good races and showed substantial improvement from the last race.

Four boats qualified for the finals:

⏱️ The Men’s Freshman Quad, rowing in the Junior category, placed 5th in the finals and rowed a full 50 seconds faster than they did last week.
🥉The Women’s Senior Double placed 3rd
🥈The Men’s Senior Quad placed 2nd
🏆The Women’s Junior Quad won the State Championship

ONWARD! The Men’s Sr Quad and Women’s Jr Quad qualified for Nationals on May 23rd and 24th. There is a possibility that the Men’s Fr Quad and Women’s Sr Double may also participate in Nationals. To help prepare these boats for Nationals, only these 4 boats will be practicing this week.

🚗 We anticipate that there is enough room in cars between coaches and senior drivers. If you can and would like to drive this week, please advise the Justice Rowing board via email.

We are working with coaches on getting opportunities for more rowers to participate in practices next week (May 12th-16th). Watch your emails for more details on the schedule next weekend; we will most likely need some parent volunteers to drive.

Thank you again for all the parent support this season!
