Calling all Justice Rowing parents! Can’t wait for our Open House on Saturday, October 5, and we need you to help make it happen.
Want to know what the day looks like? See the photos from last year. Below might give you an idea of how you can be involved and make a difference for our rowers and the program at our biggest recruiting effort of the year. Read the related post on what to expect.
- The day starts early at the boathouse—we need juice and breakfast snacks for the volunteers, coaches, and rowers.
- After we load up boats, we trailer our shells and gear—we need a trailer and a driver!
- We bring up gear from Sandy Run to Beach 4—you can help us load up and transport the life jacket bags or gear in your car to Beach 4.
- We unload the shells and rowers start rigging. Are you good with a wrench? Are you tall?
- We also have prep for grilled food and sides—we need someone to flip burgers and bring sides.
- Do you have plans in the morning? You could volunteer to help clean up at 2:00 p.m. Or bring towels to wipe down the boats and wash and store them until February.
- Commitments in the afternoon? You could make sides and a dessert for our guests and help set up at 10:00 a.m. at Beach 4.
There’s something for everyone, no matter your skills. Sign up today!
