1. Friday Pasta Party: Since prom is on Friday, we will be postponing the pasta dinner from this Friday (the 9th) to next Friday (the 16th). Connor’s family has volunteered to host this last pasta party and send-off to SSRAs!

2. Next Week Practices: Any rowers not going to SSRAs can participate in practices next week on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday. These are optional practices for the non-SSRA rowers.  I am sure there are some rowers excited to get back on the water, so we will need some parent driver volunteers. I created a sign-up sheet for next week to help schedule drivers.  Based on the number of rowers interested, we may not need all volunteers to drive but want to be prepared!

Please Note: SSRA boats will have Wednesday practice and we will only need 1 parent driver on Wednesday.

3. Award Ceremony at Fairfax Board of Supervisors: The team has been invited to an award ceremony at the Government Center on Tuesday, May 13th at 9:30 a.m. (arrive by 9:15 a.m.) to celebrate our championship accomplishments. Family members and athletes are welcome to come and celebrate.
