Below are the lineups entered for Saturday. These lineups, with the possible addition of a women’s LW 2X, represent what we plan to put forward for the VASRA Championship on May 13th.

Not all of our rowers will compete this weekend, but we do intend to have all rowers compete at the Mathews Regatta the following weekend (May 6th).

In making the lineups the coaches considered erg scores, weight-adjusted erg scores (power-watts/weight ratio that accounts for boat drag associated with rower weight), and rower technical skills. For those rowers returning next year I will revisit expectations for those wishing to be competitive for an upper boat.

VASRA is still refining the schedule, but it appears they will run the small boats in the morning. It looks like the JR 2X, W-4X, and both Junior 4s will face heats. The last possible races for us would be the Junior 4 finals around 1:30 pm. They plan to run heats for novice and freshman events in this regatta, so racing is scheduled to go until 5:40 pm.

We’ll distribute and post the final schedule when VASRA releases it.

It will be very warm on Saturday, so start hydrating now.

See you at the boathouse.
