My thanks for all the hard work preparing, supporting, and competing yesterday. A special shout out to Liam DeVan who was the men’s alternate yesterday and worked very hard all day supporting the launches and recoveries from the boathouse area.

We entered eight boats in the Championship, six of which had to progress through heats to reach the finals. We ended up with seven boats in finals and of those, four received bronze medals. The complete results are below. You can see the great photos taken by Ms Gioseffi at States 2018 at the Crew Photo Gallery.

Based on these results our Men’s LW 4+ received an automatic bid to the National Championship Regatta. Through the petition process, it’s possible that some of our other bronze medal boats may also get a chance to participate.

This week is the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the largest and oldest high school regatta in the world. Practice resumes tomorrow for the boats/rowers below. We’ll practice Mon/Tue and load the trailer on Wednesday. The travel team will depart Thursday morning so as to practice on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.
