Three Updated Announcements! Plus a bonus announcement.

1. Monday’s practice is canceled. Stay tuned for more information about a possible WEDNESDAY practice next week (4/10) instead.

2. Car Wash date change. We’re moving this Sunday’s car wash to 4/14, 12:30-5 PM. Sign up for this All Hands fundraiser. Please share this information with your neighborhood/other groups.

3. The Justice High School Crew Challenge 2024 continues! Donate here today to keep our rowers competitive on the water or on the Justice High School Athletic Department eTeam challenge webpage.

4.  Help us Recruit! We’re looking for a coordinator(s) to help us recruit for the program. We have found that if we approach rising 9th graders (even 8th graders) early, before they set foot in JHS, we’ve had good success with introducing them to the program. Past recruiting events include a “Rowing for Fitness” ERG program after school at Glasgow, our Learn to Row program, and Open House at Lake Barcroft, plus others. Ideally, these activities would be planned to take place before the end of the school year, introducing Justice Rowing now, rather than waiting for new freshmen to arrive on campus in the Fall. If you’re interested in helping us with this effort, please send us an email. We have templates for the ERG workouts, etc. and would like to start planning them for implementation during the end of this school year. Thank you!
