Complete and submit the following forms to participate in Winter Conditioning

 Starts December 1, 2025 at Justice High School

 1. Register in the new Arbiter System: Every student-athlete needs to create an account and register in the online Justice High School Athletics Arbiter SystemRegister in the new Arbiter System: Every student-athlete needs to create an account and register in the online Justice High School Athletics Arbiter System.

 Student-athletes who have previously registered to play a sport at Justice High School should have received a separate email from Mr. Brian Garvey in June 2025 with an Arbiter Sports email address attached to it. Students will need to first create an account in the Arbiter system using the link in the email and then can use the ACCEPT INVITATION link in Mr. Garvey’s email to help pre-populate some of the registration process.

 2. VHSL Physical Examination Form: The downloadable form must be filled out by parents/guardians and in part by your doctor. All signatures and sections of the form must be complete. HAND DELIVER the completed form to the Justice High School Activities Office during normal business hours.

 3. Justice Rowing Liability Form: Print, complete, and sign the Justice Rowing Liability Form.  Email the completed form to  justicerowing.register@gmail.com or give a hard-copy to Elizabeth Allison or Christina Kish. This form MUST be submitted before participating in winter conditioning.

Complete and submit the following prior to December 20, 2025:

 4. Justice Rowing Registration: Complete the Justice Rowing Registration Form for 2025-2025.  

 Please submit dues at the time of registration. You can pay by check made out to “Justice High School Rowing Boosters” and get the check to Elizabeth Allison or Christina Kish or use the online payment option to pay by credit card through PayPal. The deadline for payment is January 10, 2026. If you elect the split payment option, this is the link to the 2nd payment due by February 5, 2026.

 5. Financial Aid Form: If you need financial assistance to help pay the dues, please submit the Financial Aid form by December 20, 2025. We want every student to be able to row!

 6. Uniform & Jacket Orders Form: Fill out the Uniform/T-Shirt/Boat Jacket form by December 20, 2025. Uniforms and one practice t-shirt are free, but we need to know the sizes. For the made-to-order rowing jackets, which are not free, you can pay by check made out to “Justice High School Rowing Boosters” and get the check to Elizabeth Allison or Christina Kish or use our online option to pay.

 Complete and submit the following after January 1, 2026:

 7. Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association (VASRA) Waiver Portal: Complete AFTER Jan. 1, 2025. If a rower is under 18, the parent/guardian must complete the form. If a rower is 18 or over as of the date of their 1st regatta, they must sign it. Once submitted, the waiver is good for the season.

 8. Swim Test: All novices need to complete an in-person swim test arranged by Justice High School Rowing Boosters. The swim test consists of swimming 100 meters (4 laps) and treading water for 2 minutes fully clothed. Location and date to be determined.

 9. US Rowing Membership: US Rowing membership is no longer required by Justice Rowing but is optional if the rower would like to join. The Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SSRAs) national championships may require US Rowing membership, but this would only be for those athletes that qualify to attend.  Membership cost is $25.00.  If needed forms: 

 Inhaler Authorization (SS/SE-65) — Fill out and submit to the Justice Rowing registrar if a student uses an inhaler in school

 Epinephrine Authorization (SS/SE-64) — Fill out and submit to the Justice Rowing registrar if a student needs an EpiPen

 Field Trip Driver’s Form — Complete and submit to Mr Garvey if you drive student-athletes other than your own children in your vehicle
